Visited the wagon on the 18th of May 25 about 3 30 it was very busy We took our little dog in as well The staff were really nice and the service was spot-on the meal was absolutely delicious and something I’ve never had before which I thought was delicious. I had the Sunday lunch and they brought the cauliflower and broccoli in a cheese sauce and they put a little bit of nutmeg on it and it was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly thoroughly recommended. Will definitely be going back.
Lunch at The Waggon yesterday, two old but young at heart friends, booked 1pm, sat outside which was gorgeous, food took far too long as kitchen busy. Luckily we weren’t in a rush. Had to comment in the end but the two waitresses were amazing. Justine and Vanessa, thank you for your understanding, caring, apologies and humour. Turned into a very enjoyable, happy lunch. Will return to see you soon.xx
Absolutely delicious meal. The beef stroganoff was cooked to perfection. Staff very helpful and attentive. Overall an excellent experience. Why leave the village????
We visited here for lunch to break up the drive home. I had the three cheese and onion pie with triple cooked chips and baked beans - simply delicious and I would have it again in a heart beat. The wife had a large prawn salad which was delicious, refreshing and filling. We look forward to our next visit.
Daniel, Stephan and Summer made our visit absolutely beautiful! It was my boyfriends 30th birthday and wanted to treat ourselves and him after moving close to uppermill. I forgot to put on my booking notes that it was my boyfriends 30th birthday and after an undercover request, they made everything so special after our meal. But then again, it was from start to finish. What a lovely bunch and thank you so much!!!
